Want to show off your acting chops? A fan of blooper reels? Want to create movies with hilarious out-takes and unpredictable multiplayer chaos? This is the first game of its type with baked-in viral content creation potential.

From one of the creators of Screencheat, comes a new kind of multiplayer experience! 
Acting Out is the online co-op acting game where you are actors in a movie. Think Content Warning, but you're on a film set. You're given a script to read, filming is one-take, and your bloopers won't get cut, so don't screw it up! ...or do! Coz your viewers would love that too!

Whether you follow the script or ruin it with improv, you'll get to watch the movie right away. Well... you and your entire streaming audience will. The recorded movie files will also be saved to your PC for you to share or edit into content immediately. 

Once you look through the genres and choose a movie to shoot, you'll all jump onto set, where you'll each choose your characters. The cameras are set, so just hit your marks, deliver your lines (with emotion!), and use your emotes to create ABSOLUTE CINEMA! 

The demo has scenes with 1 - 4 characters at a time. Got more players than the characters in a scene? Any additional players will spectate as invisible characters, but can still contribute with their voices or via the in-game soundboard! Timing a perfect fart sound might just elevate your dramatic scene.

The game is perfect for streaming and also creating content from the saved movie files to share afterwards.  

Our Steam demo is out now! You will receive a Steam key to redeem for yourself, and others you are playing with can get the demo directly from Steam (download here).

Streaming or posting content from the game will let you secure keys before the full game release.

Get on a film set with your friends and make movies! Acting Out is an online co-op multiplayer game where you and fellow actors try to shoot the next award-winning scene.All the cameras are set up for you already, so your job is to act out scripts and deliver your best performance. You only get one take for each shot though!

Whether you’re a fan of horror, action, drama, or even trashy reality TV, there’s something for everyone. Featuring over 20 scenes with more to come, select the script of your choice and then jump on set for casting!

Choose the right actors for each part, and coordinate with your friends to make sure you have the best person for each role. The characters will depend on the script being fantasy, sci-fi, detective noir, or something else entirely, so choose carefully.

Want to be creative? Replay the original levels with the pre-made script disabled and re-enact your favourite movie scenes or make up your own story!

Your acting is the most important part of it all. Stellar performances are what makes or breaks a scene. Make sure you hit your marks before the cameras start rolling, then deliver your scripted dialogue, try to ad-lib, or go full improv!Stay in character and don’t forget to use emotes! After all, actions can speak louder than words. You can also play sound effects through the in-game soundboard for extra dramatic effect.

When your crew has wrapped, you’ll all be taken to the theatre to watch your masterpiece on the big screen. Laugh, cry, and be genuinely moved by the work of art you have created together! You can even save your movie for posterity, and show others exactly why you are truly a star!
