Beginning as a submission to the 2023 Big Mode Game Jam, Backpack Boy, a puzzle-platformer built around using special light sources to affect the world around you has been expanded to a full game with new levels and new mechanics.

We got the opportunity for many streamers and content creators to play and enjoy our demo, including VideoGameDunkey, Trisha Hershberger, Yogcast and many more!

We currently have over 300 streamers/creators who have redeemed keys with more adding to that number every day.  We would love to get our game in the hands in as many of you as we can.

Keys are still being given out to many who reqest copies.

PLAYSTATION RELEASE IS DELAYED.  We have not yet begun sending out Playstation keys due to a delay regarding porting.  But hold onto your butts, because the Playstation release is still coming, and we will keep your Playstation key requests until the time comes for those keys to go out.

Flashlight

The Flashlight is the first and most important tool in your backpack. Though, this flashlight doesn't just light up the dark. It shines its way to somewhere else. Use it to solve puzzles and explore a dilapidated facility that has been long abandoned.

Lantern

The second tool at your disposal is The Lantern. Endowed with the same power as The Flashlight, these lanterns provide the ability to punch holes between here and somewhere else. But what are they doing here? And who left them?
