For the Greater Good is a violent, single-player action game with a linear story. The game's flow alternates between high-octane action levels and story-driven cutscenes, creating short bursts of gameplay followed by downtime for players to absorb the plot, discuss the game, and engage with viewers.

Short, interactive tutorials explain how to play the game and how to use new characters as they are unlocked. Levels can be skipped through the pause menu if their difficulty is preventing the player from seeing the rest of the story. 

The game does not contain any copyrighted music.

The game is currently only in English.
