Welcome to the Here Comes The Swarm Launch Campaign!
We're super excited to launch our game and hope you will have a blast playing it for your audience. Here Comes The Swarm is a Survival RTS game built by four experienced developers from the industry. We are going out on a limb here and pushing our first-ever indie title! We hope that you enjoy our Swarm technology that makes the countless and intensifying waves possible in our game - we put tons of work into it! The Game information is listed below this section, but first, a few things we'd like to ask of you when playing our game:
- Feedback: Please keep in mind that it is our Early Access version. We welcome constructive criticism - especially if you let us know on Discord or on Socials. Additionally, the game is meant to be challenging, but we have included difficulty settings to allow for a more 'comfortable' experience.
- Game Modes: We highly recommend trying all three of the launch game modes. Each has their own unique reasons to play. Expeditions is our core game mode. Skirmish and Endless are both made to challenge you and provide you with other unique playthroughs!
- Getting Started: If you are unsure of where to start before playing the game. Please feel free to check out Orbital Potato and Unstable Voltage's playthroughs - both are great at explaining the game's systems!

Our Game:
The hive is angry. They have claimed this planet. Today, today, today, they whisper to their brothers, to their sisters. The swarm shivers in anticipation. They click, they chitter, they burst. Today, today, today. They move as a river, a steady stream, towards the camp of the walking machines. In unison they chant: we kill, we kill, we kill.
Will you stop them?
Managing your settlement is crucial in Here Comes The Swarm. Gather enough resources for upgrades and expansion while keeping your population fed and happy. Make sure your defenses are ready when the swarm comes.
Build the army you want, and train your units to ready them for the hive's strongest enemies. Strength comes in numbers for the swarm, and their onslaught will be unrelenting. Get ready to find thousands of fiends trying to breach your walls.
Choose between various deities and their divine powers to help you on your journey. Their blessings may very well be the difference between survival and defeat. Will you focus on attack, defense, or something completely different?
Find Arcane essences on your skirmishes to upgrade your Arcanum, unlocking new, powerful nodes that will change the game. Choose between these new boons to further tailor the game to your own preference.
Enter the expedition map for a whole new adventure. No play session will be the same as you encounter new blessings and empowered enemies. With every new step, your adventure will be further shaped by your decisions.
Don't let time be your enemy; make tactical decisions by pausing the game during critical moments. You can plan the building of your base, assign army movement, or use it to make yourself a hot drink: you deserve it.
