Hope in the City
HOPE IN THE CITY is a narrative investigation game: 17-year-old Hope comes home to find her parents gone, and nobody seems to care. Armed with her sketchbook, she draws what others miss and pieces together the truth hidden beneath the city's calm.
The full game launches on November 11, and keys are open to everyone! Big or small, we’ll welcome every creator who genuinely wants to really play it. Since the story takes an unexpected turn, we just ask you to add a spoiler warning if you discuss key moments.

You come home from school like any other day. Your parents are gone, the apartment is turned upside down, and nobody has any answers.

What nobody else sees. Hope isn't a detective. She's an artist, and that's what makes her dangerous. Draw what doesn't fit: a shadow in the wrong place, an object moved, a lie in someone's eyes.
Capture what you see as sketches in Hope's notebook. Every detail matters.

Connect your sketches into insights, then push them into breakthroughs. No clue log, no map marker, nobody telling you what you found.

Wander between neon signs and quiet corners in a bold, striking art style.

On the surface, it's just home: familiar streets, quiet neighbors, ordinary life. But beneath Hope's peaceful existence, secrets are buried. And now it's her time to find the truth.
