Orbital Overdrive
![]()
Orbital Overdrive is a roguelite twin-stick arena shooter with a neon/Tron aesthetic that pops on camera. You fight waves of enemies on the orbit of a planet, building your ship from hundreds of weapons and abilities — then dive into the planet's core for a completely different challenge.
Why it works for content: The runs are short (15-30 min), the visual chaos scales fast, and the build variety means no two runs look the same. The scoring system doubles as currency, forcing a live risk/reward decision every wave — do you bank XP for upgrades or spend it on firepower now? That tension creates natural moments viewers react to. VR mode (OpenXR) is also supported for creators who want a different angle.
Quick facts: Singleplayer. Keyboard/mouse and controller (highly recommmended!). Global leaderboard for competitive content. Published by Coyote Time Publishing.
