Wretched is a tactical deckbuilder where every turn plays like a mini puzzle. It’s less about building massive damage combos and more about outsmarting the room — evading attacks and manipulating enemies into taking each other out.

• High Chat Engagement: Every turn is a tight tactical debate—whether you’re deciding which hit to eat in the early game, or stringing together mid-run skills to escape an "impossible" trap unscathed. If you don't see the best play, your chat will definitely backseat you through it.

• Clutch Moments: Pulling off a zero-damage escape while having the enemies slaughter each other makes for peak highlight clips.

Fight along a single line where one step can change everything. Read enemy intentions, find your opening and turn a difficult position into a deeply satisfying sequence of unfortunate events.

Move into range. Kick an enemy out of it. Slip behind another. Chain your skills together and make every point of energy count.

A RIDICULOUS ARSENAL.

Master 75 skills, from punches and kicks to swords and guns. Build a deck whose moves work together, giving you ways to reposition, defend and deliver serious damage.

Attach up to three augmentations to compatible skills. Add damage, knockback, protection, extra draws or energy—or reduce a skill’s energy cost. A familiar move can become the centrepiece of a very different strategy.

YOU HAVE DONE THIS BEFORE.

It has simply been a while.

Begin each run with a 16-skill deck. Discover techniques along the way and preserve one skill per run in Memory. Between runs, use your available replacement slots to swap remembered skills into your starting deck.

Your augmentations disappear when the run ends. Your memories stay.

Gradually, the next attempt becomes less “let’s see what happens” and more “I remember how this goes.”
